Were These Tupac’s Final Words?
Folks really don’t believe in letting people rest in peace.
Earlier this week, there was the Michael Jackson hologram at the Billboard Music Awards.
Now, a retired Las Vegas police officer is claiming he was there when Tupac uttered his last words on September 7, 1996.
In a new feature with Vegas Seven, Chris Carroll says: “He looked at me, and he took a breath to get the words out, and he opened his mouth … And then the words came out: ‘F*ck you.’”
The statement reportedly came after the rapper was shot multiple times after leaving a boxing match with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight. Carroll says he was attempting to get Tupac to reveal who shot him when the rapper made the declaration.
When asked why Carroll has decided to come forward now, he said: “It’s been almost 18 years … There’s clearly never going to be a court case on this” and he also didn’t want “Tupac to be a martyr or a hero because he told the cops ‘F*ck you.'”
