Tupac Tickets Go on Sale Monday

Earlier this year, we told you Tupac was heading to Broadway.

Now, it’s becoming a reality. Tickets for Holler if Ya Hear Me, a non-biographical tale of “friendship, revenge, change and hope” told through the music of the West Coast legend, go on sale this Monday, April 7 at 10 a.m. local time.

The show opens to the public on June 19 and will run through early 2015 at The Palace Theater in the heart of New York. Produced by the late rapper’s mother, Afeni Shakur, details on the musical are minimal, but the musical reportedly cost $8 million to produce.

Director Kenny Leon of the 2010 Tony Award-nominatedrevival of Fences and author Todd Keller of 2014’s revival of Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, join forces to present Holler if Ya Hear Me.
