Trevor Noah Delivers THE Best Viral Rant On Trump
Trevor Noah did not come to play, and he’s certainly not here for Donald Trump.
It’s no secret that “The Donald” isn’t on the top of the Daily Show host’s cool list. But, the verbal whipping that Noah issued Wednesday night was enough to get the Interwebs buzzing and applauding his #ViralRant segment.
During the two-minute video, the South African-born comedian broke down why he’s over Trump and has had enough of his rhetoric regarding immigrants and minorities.
With gestures and slick speech that had Noah sounding like he was delivering a “woke” rap verse with no beat, he stated:
“The greatest country in the world is the country that accepts people who come in from everywhere in the world, Mr. Donald Trump,” Noah said. “And I know you think that half the country is a basket of deportables. Yeah, I said it, ‘deportables,’ not ‘deplorables.’ But the good people of America know the greatest country in the world is the country where you can come in and create anything.”
The blows kept coming and were fueled with insults, profanity, and legit points. One of which, was based off of the migrant success story of Steve Jobs.
“You know what came from Syria? The iPhone came from Syria, Donald Trump. The same iPhone you tweet s–t about the refugees on. Every time you tweet with those fat, little fingers of yours, you should be saying thank you to them for giving you that same phone.”
And when it comes to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, Noah sent a very direct message by pointing out that the mere fact he, as a South African, has the opportunity to sit in a chair, as the host of The Daily Show, that was once held by an American and have the ability to take up these issues with the presidential hopeful. That, Noah argued, “proves how great this country is.”
