Brands Band with Lolla To Help Chicago Schools

VH1 is making moves.

After announcing the return of its “Divas” series, the network’s Save The Music Foundation is now teaming up with Toyota for Lollapalooza and Chicago school grants.

The partnership seeks to raise awareness for music education by hosting an interactive festival activation at Grant Park, where Lollapalooza takes place, July, 28-31.

While highlighting the importance of education in the midst of music festival fun, the activation will consist of plexiglass and multicolored globes. The question, “What does music mean to you?” will be posed inside of the structure. Musicians and festivals attendees will also have the opportunity to sketch or write their answer to the question on the globes.

In addition to the artsy flare, Toyota and VH1 Save the Music will present three different schools in Chicago with $30,000 worth of music equipment as part of the #ToyotaGiving campaign.
