Stranger Things season 2 drops this Halloween, but Netflix hasn’t revealed much else.
The ’80s set series follows Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), who lives in a small Indiana town in 1983. She goes on a terrifying quest in search of her missing son, Will. Fifteen-year-old Caleb McLaughlin who stars on the series as the no-nonsense Lucas Sinclair and one of Will’s BFFs knows as much about season two of Stranger Things as we do.
Recently, McLaughlin who also starred in BET’s The New Edition Story as young Ricky Bell, sat down with The Huffington Post to chat about the upcoming season of Stranger Things. In the most recent teaser trailer for season two, a horrifying monster had us all SHOOK. When asked about it, McLaughlin said, “I didn’t even know what that was either. When I saw that I was like, ‘What the heck is that?’ I was like, ‘Um, there is something I do not know about the script?’ So that’s definitely good because it makes my reaction even better — for me to have a real reaction. I have no idea what that is.”
Apparently Stranger Things fans aren’t the only ones in the dark about what’s going to go down during season two. Though McLaughlin wasn’t able to share any details, he did say, “I think Season 2 is a lot different. And it’s gonna be better and darker, and you get more into the characters instead of like last season, so that’s the good part about it.” According to the interview, we’ll also get much more of Luc’s backstory this year as a well.
Is it Halloween yet?
