Tamar Braxton Squashes Beef with K. Michelle
It’s no secret that Tamar Braxton and K. Michelle were beefing.
Well it seems like the ladies put all of that aside at Sunday’s BET Awards ceremony. The two singers gathered on stage at the event for a special performance, which was highly anticipated by viewers due to their YEARS of feuding online.
Tamar and K. Michelle actually met for the first time in person this weekend, and fans are actually questioning whether or not Tamar’s apology and well…the pleasant peace making scene in general, was authentic.
K. Michelle kicked off the performance, but left the stage before Braxton entered and performed “If I Don’t Have You.” After her performance, she told the audience that she was “all about forgiveness” and publicly apologized to K. Michelle for her role in the ongoing tension. K. Michelle then hit the stage again to perform before legendary singer Patti LaBelle.
The three singers then collectively performed singing LaBelle’s classic tune, “If Only You Knew.” K. Michelle and Braxton hugged after the performance as K. Michelle told her, “I love you babe.”
It wasn’t long before folks started questioning the scene’s authenticity. Critics argued that the two singers didn’t put anything on social media with each other before or after the performance. They also noted that while Tamar apologized, K. Michelle did not.
