Syleena Johnson Previews ‘R&B Divas Atlanta’
Every week, R&B Divas Atlanta star Syleena Johnson gives JETmag.com readers the scoop on what to expect in this week’s episode. Read on to find out more…
Well, turns out Monifah didn’t listen to any of us on this week’s episode of R&B Divas Atlanta! LOL … But that is okay! Sometimes, you have to do what makes you happy in order for you to actually BE happy.
Liposuction isn’t for everyone and that’s okay, too. However, I am currently on a strict workout regimen combined with a healthier, more organic way of eating. It is a lifestyle that I am trying to make a habit for the rest of my life. I am the CEO of a health and fitness company called SheLean Health and Fitness, which will release our first workout DVD called Mommy’s Got Soul later this year, so I MUST keep it together! BUT if anything falls the wrong way at any time, I may very well need to reach out to Monifah’s doctor! 🙂
This week, Meelah is getting back into the swing of things with her career and we are excited to cheer her on! Watching her make a comeback is an inspiring and awesome thing to do, especially with the trials she has faced with having to take care of an autistic child. She is indeed strong and it will be fun to watch her comeback!
As I suggested, KeKe and her mom are finally going to go to counseling. After doing Iyanla: Fix My Life with my mom and sisters, I think it really helped our family and well being. We get along much better because we understand one another. I think Black people in general should consider seeing a therapist more. It doesn’t mean you’re crazy, it just means you have stress and need techniques to help you deal with it. I know that KeKe suffers from anxiety herself, so this could be awesome for her overall.
This week, you’ll also see LaTavia speak about her childhood trauma and addresses her mother about it. Seems like we all have “Mommy issues.” And, turns out, we are our mothers in so many ways! I wonder if LaTavia’s mother has gone through some of the same things LaTavia says that she has experienced?!
Well, you will just have to tune in to “R&B Divas Atlanta” tonight, Wednesday, May 14 at 10pm ET on TV One to find out. 🙂 In the meantime, check out the clip below:
