Stacey Dash Criticized for Defending Paula Deen
Stacey Dash just can’t seem to dodge the Twitter criticism. First, it was for her support of Mitt Romney. Then, it was her tweet on Beyonce and Jay-Z’s trip to Cuba. Now, it’s Paula Deen.
Dash sent out a tweet to Paula Deen Tuesday that said, “God does everything for a reason @PaulaDeen Only God can judge your heart BTW my daughter loves your show (only way she can get me to cook).”
Twitter users, not always the friendliest group of people, quickly bashed the actress for defending the chef, who lost her cooking show and other endorsement deals for her use of racial profanity.
“Stacey Dash is a real life uncle rukkus for defending paula deen like that,” tweeted one user. “So I’m assuming that Stacey Dash feels that she has something to prove. I guess HER money ended ALL Black oppression. Ok,” wrote another.
Dash has not responded to the backlash. Perhaps, the Clueless star is really not interested in a black card.
