We knew Soledad O’Brien wouldn’t stay out of a job too long.
Since walking away from her position as host of CNN’s Starting Point back in February, she has officially signed on to be a special correspondent for “Al Jazeera America.” At her new gig, she’ll be contributing short segments for the new network’s current affairs prime-time show America Tonight. In addition, she and her company Starfish Media Group will also be producing hour-long documentaries that will air on the channel when it launches later this year.
As if that wasn’t enough, O’Brien has also joined on as a reporter for HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, a show that airs long-form sports stories monthly.
Looks like Soledad’s decision to leave CNN was a good move. She’ll definitely have her hands full for a while now.
