#SoGoneChallenge Just Got a Supa Dupa Remix
In 2003, Missy Elliott and Monica teamed up for a dope collaboration that showed fans just how slick the Atlanta-bred singer’s tongue could get.
With just a few lyrical bars, Monica warned, “Listen boy, I’m a rowdy chick/sometimes I have to fight ’cause my mouth too slick…”
The song was “So Gone” and now in this new social media wave, the track has made its way to becoming the #SoGoneChallenge.
The Internets caught wind of the fun when Chance The Rapper dedicated his freestyle to his girlfriend. Yep, it instantly went viral and even got a repost from Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott herself.
#sogonechallenge this warms my heart to see @chancetherapper spitting ova a record I did for my sis @monicabrown in 2003 & now here we are in the yr 2016 and a new generation has embraced this song Monica added that sauce that every girl could relate to & today I saw many guy emcees point of view! Ayyyye it’s true real music/classics never die! “So Gone” still bang
A few others tried their hand at the challenge, but by far what you’re about to witness below will take the cake!
Press play and vibe out to the originator herself.

Mo is still slick with the R&B-rap freestyle. And yep, I love everything about this!
