‘Single Ladies’ Moves to Centric
If you were sad to see Vh1’s Single Ladies end last month, we’ve got good news.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the sitcom, starring LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi, has been picked up by BET’s Centric for an all-new fourth season.
As part of Centric’s exclusive programming deal with Queen Latifah‘s Flavor Unit Entertainment company, which produces Single Ladies, the cable network will also begin broadcasting episodes of Queen Latifah’s daytime talk show during primetime.
Casting for the fourth season of Single Ladies, however, remains unclear at this time. But Flavor Unit will produce new shows for Centric as well.
The partnership is expected to help Centric reposition itself as the first cable network for Black women.
