Could Sherri Shepherd Be Returning to ‘The View’?

The rumor mill is spinning, and Sherri Shepherd’s possible return to “The View” is at the center of conversations.

According to the Daily Mail, the actress could be returning to the show part-time this fall. Gracing the stage of the daytime talk show twice a week, her stint would be a part of the program’s new plan to include a fifth host on a rotating basis.

The 48-year-old, who was a part of the ensemble between 2007 to 2014, left the show due to contractual conflicts. She returned as guest this past May and was welcomed with a standing ovation.

In the last year, “The View” hasn’t been able to solidify a permanent cast. Just last week, Rosie Perez announced that she would be departing from the show to pursue her acting career. And Raven-Symoné has been standing in as a co-host since March.

Neither ABC or Sherri Shepherd have confirmed the news of a comeback, so stayed tuned.
