Shemar Moore Says Farewell to ‘Criminal Minds’
Shemar Moore spent 11 seasons decoding the minds of crazy on the intense CBS series, ‘Criminal Minds’ and now he’s ready to jump into other opportunities.
In an interview with TV Guide, the actor stated, “I’ve treated my acting career like school. ‘The Young and the Restless’: eight years. (That was) high school. ‘Criminal Minds’: college. Now I’m ready for grad school, a Ph.D., whatever you want to call it. I’m just ready to grow. I just want to leap.”
The inspiration behind his desire to “leap” hit after receiving a card from his mother with the message, “Leap and the net will appear.”
Though, he’s ready for new ventures, the 45-year-old is not planning to leave his “Criminal Minds” crew too far in the distance as he is open to making guest appearances on the show.
Right now, there’s no word on a new project in the works, but it’ll be interesting to see what’s next for him.
