Shark Tank adds New “Sharks” to the Mix

Heading into its seventh season, ABC’s Shark Tank, the go-to show of opportunity for entrepreneurs, is adding fresh faces to their panel of investors.

With its new tank or sail team, your start-up may get a boost from newcomer, Troy Carter who has made quite a name for himself in the music industry as well as invested in companies such as Uber and Spotfiy, to respectfully name a few.

Carter is the founder and CEO of Atom Factory, a talent management and media production company whose clientele includes John Legend. The company also has a venture capital investment platform.

As an angel investor, according to Black Enterprise, Carter’s interest leans more towards entrepreneurs entering a certain space with new innovative approaches. These individuals have a financial loss or failed execution under their belt, but a load of experience and insight.

Ashton Kutcher who is co-founder of A- Grade investments and has backed various tech resources from Soundcloud to Flipboard, will also appear as a guest on the show. Chris Sacca, a Silicon Valley venture investor has also been tapped as a guest appearing “shark.”

Shark Tank kicks off season 7, September 25 9/8 CST on ABC.
