Role Call: Gabrielle Union & More Land New Gigs

Catch some of your favorite actresses on the big and small screens, because Gabrielle Union, Debbi Morgan and more have just landed new gigs.

Union of Being Mary Jane is getting into the holiday spirit as the star of an upcoming flick titled A Meyers Christmas.

Set to hit theaters November 2016, the story focuses on an estranged family who unites for the first time after the passing of their mother.

Toni Braxton and her relatives are coming together, too. But they’re joining forces for the R&B legend’s upcoming biopic.

Newcomer Lex Scott-Davis will play the singer, while Debbi Morgan and Gavin Houston will transform into Braxton’s mother, Evelyn, and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, respectively.

Cortney Scott Wright, Skye P. Marshall, LaToya Franklyn and Tiffany Hines will portray the star’s sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar.

Check out the movie when it airs on Lifetime next year.
