R&B Diva Angie Stone Arrested
Grammy-nominated soul singer Angie Stone was arrested for domestic violence in DeKalb County, reported the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Stone, 53, allegedly hit her 30-year-old daughter, Diamond, in the mouth with a metal stand, knocking out her front teeth during an altercation in their home.
In the DeKalb County police report, Angie stated that her daughter hit her in the face with closed fist and was unaware that she struck her daughter with a metal stand.
The report shows different versions of the volatile incident.
Angie Stone and her daughter’s rocky relationship was brought to light during episodes of TV One’s R&B Divas: Atlanta where the two tried to work through their differences.
This, however, is not Angie’s first brush with the law. In 2011, the “No More Rain” singer was arrested for speeding and driving on a suspended license.
