The association of action heroes just lost a revered member.
Over the weekend, martial arts icon and “Enter the Dragon” co-star Jim Kelly died at the age of 67 as those in the film world, including Shadow and Act, are reporting.
Kelly, a talented high school and collegiate athlete who left higher learning to study martial arts and even created his own school/dojo, was among the heroic, and unapologetic Afro-centric, heroes of a number of films including the genre-defining “Black Belt Jones.”
Sadly, some of the younguns might not be familiar with the breadth of his work onscreen.
So, in honor of this master of the flying fists JET recommends you check out the following four movies. Just go ahead and add them to your favorite flick-viewing queue.
