Queen Latifah Heads to White House
Queen Latifah is set to perform at the White House to help the Obamas celebrate the arts.
She, along with Smokey Robinson, Usher, Audra McDonald and others, will take the stage to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities legislation.
The event, which will take place Oct. 14, will be hosted by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle.
Additionally, Mrs. Obama will lead a student workshop with MC Lyte, Esperanza Spalding and more before the affair.
Catch the concert when it airs on PBS in January as a part of the network’s “In Performance at the White House” series.
