Prince… The Musical?

There’s still chatter regarding the vault of music the beloved Prince Rogers Nelson left behind after his shocking passing.

What will happen to the music? Will fans ever hear a note or melody from the unreleased material the “Purple One” created?

Welp, we don’t have the answers. But there is talk about using the material in a possible Prince musical.

Interesting? We thought so too.

Amid the war on Prince’s estate, in an interview with the New York Post, Estate Manager Charles Koppelman and lawyer/owner of The Source, L Londell McMillan, dished that the idea of a musical catering to Prince’s boundless catalogue is not too far-fetched.

If this were to happen, the show would have a jukebox-style flair with theatrics suitable for a Prince tribute. Think along the lines of Michael Jackson’s Cirque Du Soleil treatment.

Koopelman and McMillan were appointed to manage and monitor Prince’s assets and estate and hopefully save it from a huge tax burden. The potential production could be the fist move to help the financial situation.
