Pharrell Shares Tracklist for NBA 2K15 Soundtrack

Pharrell Williams has created yet another masterpiece, and this time he’s lent his musical genius to the soundtrack for the NBA 2K15 game.

The super producer was announced as the curator of the album last month and has since been cooking up an amazing 27-track compilation that includes Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Public Enemy and many more. He even included a few of his own hits, such as “Drop It Like Its Hot” and “Can I Have it Like That.”

When creating the track list, the “Happy” singer was sure to take a different route from past curators LeBron James and Jay Z.

“There are girls that play the game, and there’s a lot of girls that are around it because their boyfriends play it or their friends play it,” he said to Complex in an interview. “So I thought it’d be such an interesting twist to have the girls weigh in on the song list, because they’re the ones that listen to it, they listen to it just as much. So I was just trying to pick like an alternative approach, you know, because how do you follow up like LeBron and Jay?”

The game won’t be available until Oct. 7, but you can listen to the songs on Spotify.
