PETA no fan of Kim Kardashian

Is Kim Kardashian the 2012 Cruella de Ville?

Ask PETA, and they’ll give a resounding “yes.”

The animal-rights group dubbed Kanye West’s girlfriend the most hated celebrity because she dared to wear a thigh-high pair of Christian Louboutin python boots in Paris, shoes that are banned in California.

“They’d go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else,” Wendy Wegner, a spokesperson for People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals told RadarOnline.

In a separate interview with the site, Wegner also said of the couple: “If a shared obsession for the dead skins of tortured animals is a recipe for love, Kim and Kanye are a match made in heaven.”

This showdown has been brewing for months. Last March, Kardashian was flour bombed on a red carpet because she was in a giant billboard wearing fox fur.

That incident was documented this month on her Keeping up with the Kardashians show on E!. To stick up for his girlfriend, West rapped in his single Theraflu (the one where he revealed he was in love with her) “someone tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor …” (We’ve also been seeing snippets of West on the show, getting an up-close look at their budding romance.)

For their part, PETA isn’t laughing.

“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings,” PETA’s senior vice president Dan Mathews said in a statement after hearing the lyric.
