Paula Deen Hires ‘Scandal’ Inspiration Judy Smith
It looks like Paula Deen realizes she’s way in over her head. After the N-Word fiasco, rumors say the celeb chef has hired a crisis expert to fix her image, the one she destroyed, remember.
Scandal watchers all know Olivia Pope is the “fixer,” so who does Deen reach out to? No other than Judy Smith, the woman who inspired the hit ABC show.
The 66-year-old chef has had a successful career, until she was taken to court for making racist remarks, ones she admitted to.
The Food Network and Smithfield have severed ties with Deen and she may take even more of a financial hit if something isn’t done soon.
Smith is a crisis management expert, based in Washington, D.C. she has worked with clients like Monica Lewinsky and Michael Vick.
Deen appeared on the TODAY Show Wednesday and said the following:
“If there’s anyone out there that have never said something that they wish they could take back. If you’re out there please pick up that stone and throw it so hard at my head that it kills me. Please, I want to meet you. I is what I is, and I’m not changing,” she said through tears.
We’ll have to sit back and watch Judy Smith work her magic.
