P. Diddy Arrested for Assaulting UCLA Coach

P. Diddy has been arrested in connection to a fight with a football coach at UCLA where his son is on the team, TMZ reports.

According to the outlet, campus police took Diddy into custody early Monday. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, plays defensive back for the university. Allegedly, the fight happened at the UCLA athletics facility.

One source told the outlet that an assistant coach was screaming at Justin on the field during a strength and conditioning training session. Diddy, who was watching from the sideline, confronted the coach in his office and grabbed him.

UCLA’s Newsroom reports that the music mogul was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. That weapon being a kettlebell.

According to sources connected to Diddy, the Press Play entertainer wanted to call police, but his phone was taken out of his hands.

P. Diddy is currently in custody at campus jail and expected to be transported to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center.
