Tyler Perry and Oprah do it again!

This union of media mogul meets entertainment maverick, by way of their multi-project partnership, will be presenting Perry’s upcoming scripted series Single Moms Club based on his upcoming film of the same name on the OWN Network.

Since the movie’s December 2013 trailer release, it has continued to garner lots of anticipation. Nia Long, Terry Crews, and Amy Smart all co-star as single mothers who corral together due to a fateful event involving their children who attend the same school.

With women being the faithful constituency of all things “Oprah,” and the growing prevalence of single-motherhood, it’s a good chance that Tyler Perry is bringing another golden egg to OWN’s roost of impactful programming. Tyler Perry has already landed two hit shows on the Oprah Winfrey Network: The Have’s and the Have Nots and Love Thy Neighbor.
