New Music Alert: Snoop Dogg, Jidenna & More

Just in case anyone forgot, Snoop Dogg is reminding people of his hometown in the track “I’m From Long Beach.”

Spitting over a mid-tempo, trap beat, the Cali native paints a vivid picture of his neighborhood, as he reminisces on his adolescent days.

“If you want to find me/Come to Long Beach/213 is where I be/I’m from Long Beach,” he raps.

No word yet on if the song will appear on an upcoming project, but take a listen below.

While it’s unclear if the West Coast emcee is gearing up for a new album, Jidenna has made his intentions plain with the release of three fresh singles.

Long Live the Chief,” which he released a video for last week,”Extraordinaire” and “Knickers” are all fresh tracks that will be part of his debut LP.

“We had a hell of a year. You each deserve to eat, drink, and be swanky during the holy days. As you do, please indulge in a few appetizers…The main course will be served in 2016,” the Wondaland artist said.

He hasn’t announced a specific date yet, but stay tuned and let us know what you think of the records.

Although Mila J has just released her mixtape The Waiting Game, she is still in the studio cooking up heat.

Known for remixing some of the hottest records including Drake’s “Hotline Bling” and Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t.” the songstress has now been inspired by J. Cole and Mary J. Blige.

She combines the lyrics of “Real Love” with the instrumental from “No Role Modelz,” adding her personal flair to both.
