Nearly five years after the King of Pop’s untimely death, his estate is planning to release new music by Michael Jackson.
Xscape, Jackson’s first posthumous album, is set for release on May 13. The album, which was executive produced by Epic Records chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, features eight previously unreleased recordings.
Other producers on Xscape include Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate and John McClain.
Both the standard and deluxe versions, which features a selection of the recordings in their original form, are available for pre-order beginning April 1 at iTunes. Xscape will be available elsewhere on May 13.
