Mother of Ludacris’ Daughter Pens Essay

While rapper/actor Ludacris recently wrapped a promo run for Furious 7 and is currently hitting stages with new music from “Ludaversal,” controversy lurks on the other side of the grass.

The mother of his second child, Tamika Fuller, has penned a very detailed and telling essay to Madame Noire regarding her loss in the recent custody battle and now fight for her daughter, Cai Bella Bridges.

She noted that cases like this aren’t rare and sympathized with other mothers who loss custody of their children to their more wealthy, powerful, celebrity fathers. She also expressed the love she has for child and even questions “What kind of mother gets her child taken away from her?”

Fuller wrote:

Regardless of what a judge decides, having less money than the father does not mean that a mother cannot adequately care for her child. And we should not be penalized for not being wealthy in a misogynistic society that is financially hostile toward women.

This is a tough situation and we can only hope that there is peaceful resolve.

Do you think Ludacris, who is now married to long-time girlfriend Euxodie and expecting their first child together, will respond to Fuller’s letter? Will this dim his Hollywood star?
