Melyssa Ford on “Blood, Sweat and Heels”

Melyssa Ford is back with Bravo TV’s docu-series Blood, Sweat and Heels premiering this Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9pm/8c and she is ready to set the record straight. While she says no drinks will fly as they do in other reality TV shows, there will be standard side-eye disses and behind-the-back gossip. Ford chats with on why you should tune in.

JET: Were you apprehensive about doing a reality show?
Melyssa Ford: There has always been a lot of speculation about my private and professional life, so this was a somewhat a difficult decision for me to make to open the doors to who I really am and to end the speculation.

JET: What hurdles will you personally cross this season?
MF: [You will see] insecurities that you probably wouldn’t assume that I would have. You’re going to see me struggling through my rookie year of being a real estate agent and I just want everybody to know I wasn’t given any handouts. I had to work my ass off. Then obviously you’re going to see me go through some ups and downs in my joke of a love life. I swear to God, I’m on God’s cosmic gag reel.

JET: What makes this show different than other unscripted fare?
MF: There are some really heartfelt moments that make you cry your face off. I cannot reveal what it is but when I say it’s major, it’s major. I’ve never really seen it happen in a reality show and no one could have seen it coming.

Tune into Blood, Sweat and Heels on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 9/8c on Bravo to find out more!
