Marvel’s latest film, Captain America, is currently kicking butt at movie theaters all over the world. And while it features many of the comic book brand’s biggest star–Iron Man, Falcon, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and more–one of the things that has fans most excited is the debut of Black Panther.
Black Panther, Marvel’s first Black superhero is getting his own film (starring Chadwick Boseman) in 2018, but he made his on-screen premiere in the latest Captain America film.
While we patiently wait to see T’Challa rule the Kingdom of Wakanda in all of his IMAX glory, news of a possible addition to the cast has fans quite hype.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is in talks to star opposite Boseman in the upcoming Black Panther film. We don’t know what role she’ll be playing just yet, but comic book fans are already speculating.
"Love interest," eh? In another universe, Lupita would be in this movie as Storm. @BlackGirlNerds @THR pic.twitter.com/sJbgxllrXd

Whoever Nyong’o ends up playing in the film, one this is clear: we’re SO READY!
