Director Christopher Everett brings his award-winning film to DVD. Wilmington On Fire tells the story of a Black community in Wilmington, North Carolina that was violently attacked by a white mob in 1898. The attack led to countless deaths and an overthrow of an entire community by military force. It was also a catalyst for white supremacy and segregation in North Carolina and surrounding states.
