Lil Wayne is headed back to his birthplace of New Orleans to give fans a show to remember. The rapper is introducing the Lil Weezynana Fest, a one-day affair that will feature a special treat — a Hot Boys reunion.
The MC’s manager, Cortez Bryant, made the announcement on his Instagram page, stating, “We coming home to give the city the greatest concert ever!”
An official lineup has not been released yet, but we’re hoping Juvenile and Turk, members from the famed 90s group, will hit the stage.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, and the general public can cop their passes starting Saturday. The event will take place at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square on Aug. 28.
Lil Wayne has been full of surprises lately. A few days ago, he unexpectedly dropped a fresh project titled Free Weezy Album. New music coupled with a once in a lifetime show makes this a helluva summer for Tunechi fans.
