Tyra Banks is finally done toying with our emotions.
Way back in 2013, Tyra Banks announced that there would be a sequel to her widely popular Disney Channel classic, Life-Size. But, after four long years, we hadn’t heard a peep about the new flick. That all changed yesterday when the America’s Next Top Model creator announced that Life-Size 2 will be headed to Freeform in 2018. Banks will obviously be reprising her role as Eve, just don’t expect her former co-star Lindsay Lohan to be joining in on all the fun.
One word: LIFESIZE

The sequel to the original flick which is happening 18 (YES EIGHTEEN) years after the first, will follow a wiser and all grown-up Eve, who’s ready to play someone’s guardian angel. When she’s awakened by a young woman, Banks’ Eve has to help her learn to live and love again. Since Life-Size 2 is headed to Freeform during the holidays, it will have a bit of festive flair. According to the press release, the flick will air in December 2018 as a part of the network’s 25 Days of Christmas. Life-Size 2 is being described as a “fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.” Though we’re not quite sure what that means, we’ve been waiting on this for almost twenty years, so we’ll take it!
Our one request is that the classic song, “Be A Star” is included in the film somehow.
There are no other deets surrounding Life-Size 2 just yet, but we do know that Banks will serve as executive producer on the project. We just hope that Freeform gets this right, or else memories of our childhoods will forever be tainted. But low-key, we’ll be watching either way. After all, Eve’s great, no matter where she goes.
