KEVIN HART: WHAT NOW?

Comedic rock-star and EBONY cover star Kevin Hart is back with his latest recorded stand-up film What Now?, which is a follow-up to his 2013 hit Let Me Explain. Hart, who has been named the highest-paid comedian, surpassing Jerry Seinfield, performed in front of a sold-out crowd at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia — the first time a comedian has headlined a show at a football stadium.

SURVIVING COMPTON: DRE, SUGE, AND MICHEL’LE

R&B recording artist Michel’le brings us into her world as she tells her life story of music, love, and all the pain that came with it. Surviving Compton depicts the singer’s life as the first lady of Ruthless Records and being surrounded by some of Compton’s greatest performers such as N.W.A. and Tupac. The film also documents her abusive relationship with Dr. Dre and her unlikely savior, Suge Knight. Rhyon Nicole Brown stars as Michel’le, with Curtis Hamilton as Dr. Dre, and Straight Outta Compton‘s R. Marcos Taylor, who stars as Suge Knight for a second time.
