Keke Palmer To Receive TV Chairman Award

Let’s clap it for this Black chick that rocks! Keke Palmer has been putting in quality work since her pre-teen years, and her work has not gone unnoticed!

On April 18, the 21-year-old will receive the National Association of Broadcasters Television Chairman’s Award during the organization’s television luncheon.

Making its debut in 2009, the award recognizes individuals in one or more specific arts disciplines in television. Tracee Ellis Ross received the award in 2015.

From Keke’s breakout role in 2006’s Akeelah and The Bee alongside Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne, to starring in a hit Nickelodeon series, pursuing music and later making history as the youngest talk show host with BET’s Just Keke, it’s evident that the triple threat is an all-around go-getter.

Werk, girl!
