Kanye West Debuts ‘New Slaves’ Video on 66 Buildings

Kanye West is never one to do the norm. Last night, the Chicago rapper surprised fans when he announced via Twitter that he would be debuting his latest video for “New Slaves,” not online or over the airwaves, but projected on 66 buildings around the world. The black and white clip features a close up of West’s face as he raps directly into the camera. The “New Slaves” video was witnessed live by music fans in major cities, including Chicago, Broklyn, Toronto, London, Paris and Berlin.

“New Slaves” is believed to be the first single off of West’s upcoming album. It also serves as a perfect setup for his performance tonight (May 18) for the season finale of Saturday Night Live.
