AFRAID OF DARK

In examining two of the most prevalent stereotypes about African-American males, as the brute and as the Mandingo, we understand how the fear of these conventions contribute to the high rates of violence and incarceration. Streaming now, this film’s cast includes Dr. Cornel West, Malik Yoba and Lou Myers.
