Jazz in the Gardens’ 10th Year

This weekend, Miami Gardens, Fla. will be teeming with the sweet sounds of R&B, neo-soul and more.

Hosted by funnymen Rickey Smiley and D.L. Hughley, the 10th Annual Jazz in Gardens festival launches Friday with an opening night party filled with music and comedy. Saturday and Sunday will feature performances by fan favorites including Toni Braxton, Run–D.M.C., Erykah Badu, Maxwell, Sheila E., Jeffrey Osborne, Peabo Bryson, Freddie Jackson and R. Kelly. (Artists are subject to change without notice.) Over 70,000 concertgoers are anticipated at Sun Life Stadium, according to Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert.

“The atmosphere is incredible,” states Gilbert of the popular event. “From music to dancing to food, you can completely let go and relax.”
