J. Cole and HBO Team Up for Concert Special
J. Cole spent most of the year shutting down stages across the world to promote his platinum selling album 2014 Forest Hills Drive. If you missed the greatness, you’re in luck because he has partnered with HBO for a concert special.
The network announced the news Thursday, and they’re calling the project J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming.
Recorded in his Fayetteville, NC hometown, where he wrapped the three-part tour, the flick will include electric performances from the lyricist; his Dreamville crew Bas, Cozz and Omen; artists YG, Jeremih and Big Sean; and surprise guests Drake and Jay Z.
The feature will also incorporate behind-the-scenes footage of the hip-hop mavens.
So even if you did witness the emcees in person, you might want to tune in for a whole new experience.
It will air Jan. 9 at 10 pm est.
