Ice Cube Squares up For a ‘Fist Fight’ in New Role
Ice Cube is heading back to the theaters with his latest film, Fist Fight.
The comedy co-stars Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) and puts an adult spin on the infamous after-school brawls that had us watching the clock and waiting for the bell to ring so we could either map out our escape route or prepare to square up with our antagonist.
Cube and Day play high school teachers at war. Day is struggling to survive in the midst of school budget cuts and possibly losing his job. When he crosses paths with Cube an exchange is made that leads to a proposed after-school fight. And in this day of social media, the expected brawl becomes the trending hashtag around school grounds.
Tracy Morgan will also make his film comeback, following the tragic 2014 vehicle collision that left him injured and took the life of his fellow comedic friend, Jimmy Mack.

Fist Fight lands in theaters on Feb. 17.
