‘Good Times’ Star John Amos Selling Ranch Home

John Amos recently celebrated his 77th birthday and now the Newark and East Orange native is looking to sell his ranch home in Tewksbury Township.

Amos purchased the four wooded acres of land in 1990 and is selling it “as is” for $429,900 according to a Trulia listing.

Built in 1968, the four-bedroom brick and cedar shake home includes three full baths and a half bath in the basement. Not much has been updated in the living digs, so potential buyers could get creative with renovations. Property taxes are $9,770.

With the land being sold “as is”, there could be a possibility of memorabilia from projects Amos has been a part of throughout his career such as Roots and Good Times, and Coming To America, were left behind.
