What a Donald Glover Endorsement Can Do…
I LOVE my people for many reasons. But, today, I’m going to point out one specific reason, when we finally “get a piece of the pie”, we’re looking back and ready to “feed” the homies with intentions on bringing them along for the journey or watching their individual rocket take-off.
That’s exactly what Donald “Childish Gambino” Glover did during the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards, Sunday night.
While delivering his acceptance speech after Atlanta won best television series, musical or comedy, Glover made sure to give props to rap group Migos for their hit single, “Bad and Boujee.” The trio also made an appearance in the show’s third episode, “Go for Broke.”

The praise and endorsement made it far beyond that prominent, Golden Globe stage, which aired on Primetime television, and into the ears of many across the world as streams for the record saw a 243 percent increase. “Bad and Boujee” became No.1 on the Streaming Songs chart and the video received more than 1.2 million views on Monday in addition to the 2.4 million views it received the day of the Golden Globe broadcast.
See, a little primetime endorsement can do wonders! Big ups to Gambino for reaching back to “feed” the people.
