Gabrielle Union Responds to Nude Photo Leak

On Saturday, a new round of celebrities, including Gabrielle Union, Meagan Good, Rihanna, and more, were the victims of hackers who released their nude images on the Internet.

Union and her husband, Miami Heat star, Dwyane Wade have released a joint statement to TMZ in response to the incident:

“It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures. I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide. For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – We send our love, support and prayers.  We have done nothing wrong.”

Good also responded to controversy on Instagram, saying “[I’m] definitely in shock…saddened for everyone who is experiencing this…but I “choose” not to give the persons responsible power.”

The actress also shared a message for people who’ve reposted the images: “You should be ashamed of yourself.”
