Frank Ocean Music is Coming…For Real!
Could this be the real thing?
Fans have been waiting for the follow-up to Frank Ocean’s Channel Orange and after many false alarms the wait may finally be over.
RollingStone reports that the “Thinkin’ Bout You” artist is dropping his project on Friday via Apple Music.
Frank’s new body of work, Boys Don’t Cry, will also be packaged with a print publication which will be on stands at Apple Stores.
Nothing is done in the traditional sense anymore, so to add a creative spin to the announcement, Apple Music hosted a live stream on Frank Ocean’s website, boysdontcry.co, which included mysterious tips of what’s to come.
Although, it’s been a while, Frank hadn’t completely gone missing. Last month, he was part of the Calvin Klein Fall 2016 campaign, where he spoke poetically about art and music.
He also made his presence known on Kanye’s The Life of Pablo and as a co-writer on James Blake’s album.
He’s been working and now we can’t wait to hear more of what he’s been prepping in the studio!
