Everybody’s favorite (as far as entertainment value goes) Black Republican and former GOP presidential nominee Uncle Ruckus Herman Cain will join the conservative Fox News as a contributor, according to Deadline Hollywood.

“Cain’s impressive résumé makes him a valuable addition to the Fox News and Fox Business lineup,” Fox’s EVP of Programming Bill Shine said in a statement. “As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation’s debates.”

Cain, also former head of Godfather’s Pizza and staunch supporter of the Tea Party, has had some prior television experience making several appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to be another voice for intelligent thinkers on Fox to stand up for the conservative ideals that I campaigned for and that you all believe in,” Cain wrote in a post on CainTV.

Cain suspended his campaign for presidency after several women accused him of sexual harassment. He later endorsed Mitt Romney for the spot.

Knowing Fox News, what they stand for, and Cain’s background, his hiring is not a shocker.
