FLOTUS Takes Her Fashion Sense to Project Runway Junior
First Lady Michelle Obama is without doubt a showstopper when she hits the scene. From the moment she and her husband stepped into the oval office, eyes were glued to her style.
It’s chic, demure, and intricate by design.
Now, the FLOTUS will take her fashion knowledge to the set of the Project Runway spinoff, Project Runway Junior, which premieres Nov. 12, on Lifetime.
The designer competition will document 12 contestants, ages 13 to 17, as they take on creative challenges with aspirations of becoming the title winner of Project Runway Junior.
The winner gets a full scholarship to California’s Fashion Institute of Design and Marketing, a complete sewing and crafting studio, a Seventeen Magazine feature and a $25,000 cash prize to assist in launching their clothing line.
On Dec. 10, First Lady Obama will present the first challenge in partnership with Lands’ End,which will also support the LET Girls Learn campaign.
