Flight, directed by Academy Award winner Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump and Cast Away), is set to premier next week at the 48th Annual Chicago International Film Festival. Flight’s premiere will close this year’s event on Thursday, October 25.

The film stars Denzel Washington as “Whip Whitaker,” an airline pilot who crash lands his plane and saves nearly every passenger on board. After the crash, an investigation into the malfunction of the plane leads to a troubling discovery that may question Whitaker’s heroic efforts.
