By far, the most anticipated Marvel film of the moment is Black Panther.
Why? For several reasons. For one, this film is BLACK. Like Black-Black. The film’s star is Chadwick Boseman who plays T’Challa and the story is set in the fictional African country of Wakanda. If you saw last year’s Captain America: Civil War, then you got the first glimpse of Boseman as T’Challa.
The starring cast is made up of an all-star lineup of Black actors that include Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, Daniel Kaluuya (“Get Out”), Syndelle Noel and Michael B. Jordan. Not only is their Blackness on screen, but behind the camera as well. Ryan Coogler, most known for directing the films, “Fruitvale” and “Creed,” is in the director’s chair.
When the cast was announced, social media was already heavily anticipating the film which won’t be released until 2018. But yesterday, Boseman tweeted out a picture of himself, Gurira, Noel and Coogler with the caption, “We did it, We did it #WakandaForever #BlackPanther.”

Who knows when we can expect a teaser or trailer, but they are released, Black Twitter might explode!
