Eyes On The Prize: Then and Now
This Sunday, February 7th WORLD Channel will present “No Easy Walk 1961-1963” from their Eyes on the Prize series.
In the upcoming episode, the Civil Rights Movement discovers the power of mass demonstrations as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. emerges as a prominent leader. The series goes in-depth, and explores the trials and triumphs of the movement, as well as the success of the march on Washington under John F. Kennedy’s presidency.
With commentary and archival interviews from some of the world’s most significant Black leaders such as Stokely Carmichael, Rosa Parks and Coretta Scott King to name a few, Eyes On The Prize brings to light the fight and struggles of the past, while providing lessons on how to fuel the social and political fire inside of activists today.

Eyes on the Prize will air consecutively over the course of eight Sundays, beginning Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. (EST).
