If legendary singer, actress, dancer and goddess Eartha Kitt wasn’t already etched in our hearts and minds, she is now being commemorated on the pages of a new comic book series titled Eartha Kitt: Femme Fatale, according to ClutchMagOnline. The comic, penned by author Marc Shapiro, features the late Kitt as a dominating superhero figure who “is on holiday, searching for the purrfect wave.” What happens next is left for us to read ourselves.

“This series has been so much fun to do,” Shapiro said upon the first installment’s (“Eartha Meets the Gorgon”) release. “And it is an homage to the kinds of stories that first appeared in the mid-60s.”

Eartha Kitt: Femme Fatale is available in print at the Comic Book Flea Market, which can be ordered here. For digital versions get more info here.
