Good Times, one of our favorite television classics, is the latest sitcom to get the Hollywood treatment. Sony Pictures and puroducer Scott Rudin are turning the 70s dramady starring, Ja’net Dubois, BernNadette Stanis, Jimmie Walker, Esther Rolle, John Amos, and Johnny Brown into a feature film. Good Times was one of the first sitcoms to feature an African-American, working-class family. The show explored the family’s financial troubles as they struggled to get by in a Chicago housing project. The movie version will be set in the politically charged 1960s, Deadline reports.
